Companion Animal Hospital offers

spacious indoor boarding facilities

to care for your pets when

you must be away.

All of our pet boarding facilities are air conditioned & heated.

Ask about our "TLC Plan" which provides extra walks, playtime with or without other dogs, or extra pets, loves & brushing time for cats, time out of their condo, and treats, if authorized by the owner.

Medications can be administered to your pet for a small additional fee per day.

Additional fees apply for diabetic pets due to the level of care required.

We'll always contact you at the

emergency number you provide should

your pet require any medical treatment

or veterinary procedures performed

while you're away.

At Companion Animal Hospital's boarding

facility, we provide outdoor runs for dogs

which they can access 4 times per day.

We also offer a separate, quiet cat

room with kitty condos.

We also encourage you to bring your pet's favorite treats, toys to make your pet feel more secure while you're away.

We have established the following

guidelines to ensure a healthy and

happy environment for your

pets while they stay with us:

FOR DOGS:

	DHPPC required annually
	Bordetella (kennel cough) required every 6 months
	Rabies required annually for puppies; every three years for adults

FOR CATS:

	FVRCPC required annually
	Rabies annually for kittens; every three years for adults

Boarding Policy Changes 2007

Companion Animal Hospital

As of January 1, 2007 Companion Animal Hospital has updated our boarding policy to require that all animals that stay in our pet boarding facility be a patient of Companion Animal Hospital. Being a patient is defined as having had a complete physical exam by one of our veterinarians within the past 12 months*.

This exam is required to be done prior to the animal being admitted to the boarding facility, with the owner present, and it is strongly recommended that previous veterinary records also be provided. The cost for this service is $49.50.

This policy will accomplish the following:

	We will have a personal relationship with all clients and patients that use our boarding facility
	We will know the health status of every pet that uses our boarding facility, and will be aware of their medical history and any current medical problems, allowing us to better care for them.
	The clients will know us and our doctors, understand our philosophy and our policies, and will be aware of and understand our boarding requirements and fees.

We are sorry for any inconvenience to those of you that use us as a boarding facility only. We believe that this is in the best interest of all of the animals in our care. We feel this is a minimal requirement and hope our valued boarding clients understand the need for these changes and will comply to help us take better care of their pets.
