Preventive Care + Vaccines

Preventive Care

The physical exam is the doctor's primary way to determine the current health status of your pet.  This entails a comprehensive evaluation of all systems: looking at eyes, ears, mouth, listening to the heart and lungs, feeling for lumps and bumps etc…

The annual exam is often more important than annual vaccines, as early diagnosis is the best way we can help our pets live a long and happy life.

Vaccines

Vaccines for your pet are still vital in their overall health. Many diseases can be prevented by simply vaccinating your pet. They are especially important if your pet visits local dog parks, campgrounds, dog daycare or boarding facilities, and anywhere else they are exposed to other dogs. Rabies is required by Washington State law to prevent this disease from infecting domestic animals. Parvo is highly contagious and is easily prevented by vaccination. Ask us about what vaccines we recommend for your pet.

Nutrition + Wellness

Nutrition is a key component in your pet's overall health and wellness. Feeding a high quality diet, rich is proper nutrients can help them live a longer, happier life. We recommend Purina Proplan and Veterinary Diets, Royal Canin, and Hills Pet Nutrition. Have questions? Ask us about recommendations for your pets specific needs.
