Craig Ritchie, DVM
Owner and Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Ritchie graduated from Ohio State University where he received his B.S. and D.V.M.. He joined Companion Animal Hospital in 1994 as the hospital director, and purchased the hospital from Dr. Gary Ade in August 2006. His areas of special interest as a veterinarian include ophthalmology and
internal medicine.
Dr. Ritchie's Border Collie, “Renny”, joins him on his daily adventures at work.
Robin Bond
Practice Manager
Robin first started with Companion Animal Hospital as the Head Technician when Companion merged with Crossroads Veterinary Clinic to the current location in 1998. A few years later she took on the role of Practice Manager, and in 2016 she left the veterinary field to pursue other interests. In 2023, after a 7 year absence, she returned to Companion to reprise her role as the Practice Manager, and she is excited to be back in this challenging position. In her free time you can find her traveling, and camping local rivers and lakes. Robin lives on the Eastside with her husband, Jason, their dog, MoneyPenny, and 3 cats.
Angie Rouse
Head Veterinary Technician
Angie is a local girl, growing up in Bellevue and attending Newport High School and Bellevue Community College. She joined Companion in 1995 as a veterinary assistant, and through continuing education and training became a Veterinary Technician. In mid-2008 Angie took on the challenging role of leading the tech department. Angie lives in Bellevue with her husband Craig. They have a daughter Taylor and son Nolan, a dog named Delta (pictured), and a cat named Mittens.
Hayley Kimbrell
Front Office Manager
Hayley started at Companion Animal Hospital in 2021. She found a love for her receptionist role at Companion, and climbed the ladder to become our Front Office Manager in early 2023. Hayley has a passion for client relations and loves their furry friends just as much! Hayley lives in Federal Way with her dog Mochi, and on an off day you'll find them going on runs, at a farmers market, or thrifting.
Samantha Ramsay
Animal Care + Boarding Manager
Samantha is very passionate about animal care and working in the veterinary field. She started in the Animal Care department at Companion Animal Hospital in September of 2016. While at Companion, developing her strong work ethic, attention to detail and leadership qualities, her passion grew so much that she transitioned into the challenging role of Animal Care Manager in April of 2019. Currently, Samantha and her husband Andreja live in Redmond with their fur family, and enjoy the outdoors of the PNW.
