Appointment Policies

Our goal is to provide quality medical care to our patients in a timely manner. In order to do so we must create guidelines regarding our appointment policies. This enables us to better utilize available appointments and surgery time for our patients in need of medical care.

Late Arrival for your Appointment

To  ensure timely appointments and patient care, we ask that you be on time for your scheduled appointments. Appointment times start promptly at the scheduled time. If you know you will be late, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate you. Please be aware that on occasion we may not be able to accommodate a late appointment and will ask that you reschedule. Other options may be able to be offered such as patient drop off, however this is dependent on the doctors schedule and current patient needs.

Cancellation of an Appointment

In order to be respectful of other clients, we ask our clients to call us promptly if they are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in need of an appointment for their pet.

If it is necessary to cancel a scheduled appointment, we require 24 hours notice. Appointments are in high demand, and an early cancellation will allow another client the possibility to have access to timely medical care for their pet.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

To cancel appointments we ask our clients call us directly. If you do not reach the Front Office Team, you can leave a detailed message on the voice mail. You can also send a text message to 509- xxx-xxxx.

Late Cancellations

We understand life can happen at the last minute. If you need to cancel an appt within our 24 hour cancel window, we ask that you still please contact us ASAP. Knowing in advance, even last minute, allows us to assist other clients and patients. One such inicident will not incur a cancel fee.

No Show Policy

A “no show” is someone who misses an appointment without canceling. No-shows inconvenience clients who need access to medical care for their pets in a timely manner, as well as our staff who have prepared for your appointment and are awaiting your arrival.

Failure to present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded as a “no show”.  An administrative fee of $25.00 will be assessed to the clients account after two “no show” appointments. The client will be sent a letter alerting them that they have failed to show up for an appointment and did not cancel the appointment according to policy.
